“ From the start of Melissa's arrival at the hospital, she was extremely caring and thorough. I could tell that she was well versed in all aspects of nursing and hospital care. She was patient with my mom, whom if you knew my mother, could be extremely difficult. She was not afraid to ask questions of the staff or doctors in the hospital, even through the non-professionalism of a particular nurse. She took control of that situation and accomplished her goal for that visit. She also encouraged my mom to try harder in Physical Therapy. Melissa spent countless hours on the phone with me and went above and beyond her responsibilities. Honestly, she truly became a friend. I highly recommend her as a nurse, advocate, ability to lead and her caring nature. She is truly the best and she made our horrible experience a little more bearable. She even kept in touch after my mom was moved to skilled nursing and out of the scope of her traveling distance. I cannot recommend her enough. ”
